The Associate Manager Utilities will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing utility operations (electricity, gas, water, HVAC, and backup power) and projects across Domino's outlets including new sites. The role requires strong analytical and operational oversight of utilities billing, consumption trends, and cost optimization to ensure efficient operations and cost control while maintaining uninterrupted restaurant services.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor, manage, and optimize utility usage (electricity, gas, water, HVAC, and generators) across all branches.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and energy policies.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely preventive and corrective maintenance of utility equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives and projects.
  • Assist Projects team in old site extension and new sites development.
  • Oversee monthly utility bills (electricity, gas, water) for accuracy and timely payments.
  • Analyze billing data to identify unusual spikes, variances, or discrepancies and coordinate with suppliers for corrections.
  • Develop monthly consumption and cost reports for management review.
  • Track utility budgets, forecast consumption, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Liaise with utility providers (electricity, gas, water authorities) for connections, billing issues, and dispute resolution.
  • Collaborate with Finance for bill verification, budgeting, and cost allocation.
  • Support operations teams by providing utility-related insights for branch performance.
  • Maintain a utility database for all branches (historical billing, consumption, and equipment performance).
  • Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and trend analyses for management.
  • Support audits and ensure proper documentation of all utility-related records.
