The Autodesk Inventor Design Engineer is responsible for creating, developing, and optimizing 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor. This role bridges conceptual design with manufacturing readiness, ensuring innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions for mechanical products and systems.

Key Responsibilities


• Develop and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed drawings in Autodesk Inventor.


• Translate conceptual ideas, sketches, or requirements into manufacturable designs.


• Apply engineering principles, materials knowledge, and GD&T standards to ensure accuracy and compliance.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality to validate designs.


• Conduct tolerance analysis, interference checks, and design validation within Inventor.


• Prepare BOMs (Bills of Materials) and engineering documentation for production release.


• Support prototyping, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Troubleshoot design challenges, optimize for manufacturability, and reduce cost/complexity.


• Stay up to date with Autodesk Inventor features, design best practices, and industry standards.

Skills & Qualifications


• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (3D part modeling, assembly modeling, drawing creation, sheet metal, weldments, etc.).


• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes (CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, etc.).


• Experience with GD&T, engineering drawings, and standards (ASME/ISO).


• Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems and BOM management.


• Problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.


• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Fulltime from 12-21 pm, with one hour breat( onsite in Islamabad)

Pay range : 80k for first year
