Senior BIM Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Senior BIM Architect
to lead BIM processes, technical documentation, and innovative design delivery across diverse international projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in US/EU construction documentation, deep expertise in BIM workflows, and the ability to bridge design and implementation with precision, sustainability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead BIM standards, execution plans (BEPs), and project delivery workflows.
• Develop and manage detailed 3D/2D models ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee the production, review, and delivery of BIM models and associated documentation (LOD 100–500) in line with project schedules.
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment with industry best practices, local codes, EU BIM standards, and client-specific requirements.
• Mentor and train BIM team members (architects, engineers, modelers, coordinators) in BIM tools, workflows, and quality standards.
• Attend and lead coordination meetings, present BIM strategies, and integrate stakeholder feedback to refine processes.
• Conduct regular model audits and quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards.
• Support visualization and rendering efforts using Revit and related tools for presentations and client communications.
• Explore and apply automation, scripting (Dynamo, Python) and AI-based solutions to optimize BIM processes (preferred).

Required skills & Qualifications

• Education:
  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  5–7 years of experience in BIM architecture/engineering with strong exposure to US/EU projects and construction/permit documentation.
• Proven knowledge of metal and wood frame construction, facades, and sustainable building systems.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (mandatory) and familiarity with related tools such as Inventor, Navisworks, and rendering platforms.
• Strong understanding of construction principles, methodologies, and local codes; knowledge of sandwich panels and plating materials is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and maintain structured project documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to technical accuracy and visual precision.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team mentoring skills.
