Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated POS Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing Point of Sale (POS) systems within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) Retail and Commerce. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a solid understanding of retail and commerce functionalities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement POS solutions within D365 F&O Retail and Commerce.
  • Customize and extend POS functionalities to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand and implement business processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to POS systems.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of development activities and configurations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a POS Developer, preferably within D365 F&O Retail and Commerce.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET.
  • Strong understanding of retail and commerce business processes.
  • Experience with customization, configuration, and integration of POS systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills and Certifications (Nice to Have)
  • Functional knowledge of retail and commerce domain.
  • Relevant certifications such as:
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Commerce Functional Consultant Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate
  • Experience with D365 F&O development.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management.
