Manager Finance

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with accounting standards.
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with program teams.
- Monitor budget utilization and provide regular variance analysis to management.
- Ensure compliance with donor agreements and prepare timely donor financial reports.
- Liaise with donors, auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Implement and enforce internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and address audit findings.
- Ensure compliance with taxation laws and other statutory requirements.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor finance staff, building their capacity on compliance and reporting.
- Support program teams with financial planning, cost allocations, and grant management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA (Finance/Accounting), or related field.
- Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) preferred.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Prior experience in NGOs or donor-funded projects will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of donor compliance and local financial regulations.
