Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Staff Accountant. The role involves maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, reconciling balance sheets, and performing month-end and year-end close processes. The Staff Accountant will also handle accounts payable and receivable, assist with tax filings, and provide support during audits. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies is an integral part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Accounting skills: Maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and reconciling balance sheets
  • Financial management skills: Managing accounts payable and receivable, performing month-end and year-end closes
  • Compliance and audit support skills: Assisting with tax filings and supporting audit processes
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
  • Experience in international accounting and compliance is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or equivalent certification is highly beneficial
