Orient Group of Companies is looking for a dynamic and analytical Category Manager to lead product strategy, category development, and profitability across our product lines.

Job Description:


•
Develop and execute category strategies aligned with company objectives.


•
Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitors to optimize the product mix.


•
Oversee product lifecycle from development to phase-out, ensuring timely launches.


•
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance category performance.


•
Monitor sales, margins, and inventory; recommend strategic adjustments.


•
Maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost efficiency.


•
Support marketing with product insights, pricing, and positioning.


•
Review category performance and present reports to management.

Skills & Experience Required:


•
Minimum 5 - 8 Years, in the Ceramics, Paint, Cement, Sanitary Ware, or Building Materials industry


•
Strong analytical and commercial acumen with proven category management experience.


•
Sound knowledge of ceramic/sanitary ware markets and consumer behavior.


•
Excellent planning, negotiation, and vendor management skills.


•
Proficient in data analysis tools and reporting (Excel, ERP, Power BI preferred).


•
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills


•
MBA in Marketing / Supply Chain or related field
