Role Summary

We are hiring a
Mid-Level Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer
to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality software products. You'll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders across the software development life cycle (SDLC) to establish and maintain effective testing practices. Your work will directly contribute to product stability, usability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts for validating software functionality, performance, and security.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and inconsistencies.
  • Partner with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve reported issues.
  • Monitor and assess software performance, recommending improvements where needed.
  • Participate in code and design reviews to provide input on quality improvements.
  • Collaborate with product and business teams to convert requirements into test scenarios.
  • Track, document, and report testing outcomes and defects.
  • Manage test environments and data to support effective testing cycles.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging QA tools, and best practices.
  • Contribute to enhancing QA policies, standards, and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of proven experience
     as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing tools/frameworks.
  • Strong skills in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and scenarios.
  • Familiarity with bug-tracking systems and test management tools.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum processes.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for ensuring product quality and user satisfaction.
