Role & Impact

You'll manage a
live, multi-asset model portfolio
(equities, ETFs, and crypto), publish decision-ready research, and translate your work into structured inputs our AI agents use to generate user actions and portfolio intelligence.

What You'll Do

Portfolio & Strategy (60%)

  • Manage a live model portfolio: define coverage, target weights, and rebalancing cadence.
  • Publish concise research briefs covering thesis, catalysts, risks, valuation bands, and time horizons.
  • Report performance and risk metrics — alpha vs. benchmark, max drawdown, volatility, Sharpe ratio, and downside capture.
  • Enforce disciplined risk controls: position limits, stop-loss rules, and event-driven playbooks.

AI & Product (40%)

  • Build ground-truth datasets, rationales, and evaluation suites to measure agent quality (alert hit-rate, action usefulness).
  • Define and test alpha signals (earnings surprise scores, factor tilts, liquidity/volatility regimes, on-chain flows).
  • Collaborate on backtests and ablation studies to validate signal persistence and quality.
  • Create text-to-HTML templates (e.g., research one-pagers, portfolio snapshots) and execution playbooks (DCA, rebalance) with caps and 2FA guardrails.
  • Write "Why It Moved" summaries and safe, user-facing explanations of market events.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years in buy-side/sell-side research or portfolio management (global exposure preferred).
  • Strong valuation and modeling background (DCF, comps) with deep financial statement analysis.
  • Macro fluency: rates, inflation, growth, policy, and their portfolio implications.
  • Tools: Advanced Excel; Python a plus; experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, TradingView, or Barchart.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills — ability to turn analysis into actionable insights.
