Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Analyst to join our in-house research team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a strong interest in financial markets, investor behavior, and economic trends. You will assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support investment decisions, generate market insights, and contribute to high-quality research content

Key Focus Areas:

  • Investor Psychology & Behavior: Analyze how emotions, cognitive biases, and decision-making impact investor choices.
  • Market Trends: Monitor and report on current trends in local and global financial markets.
  • Global Financial Markets: Conduct research on macroeconomic factors, geopolitical developments, and global stock indices.
  • Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX): Track listed companies, market performance, sectoral trends, and regulatory updates.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct secondary research using financial journals, news portals, databases, and official stock exchange resources (PSX & PMEX)
  • Prepare concise reports, infographics, and presentations on market insights
  • Assist in writing blog articles or briefs for internal publications
  • Monitor key financial indicators and provide weekly updates
  • Collaborate with teams to support research needs
  • Stay current with market-moving news, government policies, and economic indicators

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Psychology, or related field .
  • Strong interest in financial markets, behavioral finance, and macroeconomics
  • Familiarity with data sources like Bloomberg, PSX website, etc. (a plus)
  • Good command of Excel, PowerPoint, and basic data visualization tools
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented, curious, and self-driven
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
