Overview

We are looking for a skilled
Network Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure to ensure smooth, secure, and high-performance connectivity across the organization. This role requires strong hands-on experience with networking technologies, firewalls, routers, switches, and overall network architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and identify root causes promptly.
  • Implement and manage network security measures including ACLs, VPNs, and firewall rules.
  • Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
  • Install and configure network hardware and software.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies and optimize systems.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and changes.
  • Conduct capacity planning, backups, and failover testing.
  • Address escalated user or application-related network issues.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields (optional based on expertise).
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar technical role.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, subnetting, and VLANs.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Huawei, etc.).
  • Knowledge of wireless network configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (Zabbix, SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.).
  • Good understanding of VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN).
  • Ability to document procedures, workflows, and network designs clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, HCIA, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of VoIP systems and security best practices.
  • Experience managing enterprise-level network environments.
