Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with 2 years of hands-on experience and a valid CCNA certification. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure high availability and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, maintain, and monitor LAN/WAN infrastructure and network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).

  • Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions.

  • Implement and enforce network security policies.

  • Assist in network upgrades, patch management, and documentation.

  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability.

  • Provide Level 1/2 support for network-related issues.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support overall system architecture.

Job Specification (JS): Network Engineer

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).

Certifications:

Mandatory: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in network engineering roles.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and subnetting.

  • Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.

  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).

  • Basic understanding of VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP).

  • Understanding of network security principles and tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving.

  • Good communication and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic IT environment.
