The Social Media & Digital Marketing Executive will develop, implement, track, and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all online channels. This role will focus on B2B marketing strategies that resonate with our target audience—enterprise IT professionals, channel partners, and decision-makers at mid- to large-sized organizations. You will be responsible for managing StoneFly's social media channels, crafting compelling content, and executing integrated campaigns that drive brand engagement, thought leadership, and lead generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Strategy & Management

  2. Develop and maintain a content calendar for StoneFly's social channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.), ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.

  3. Create and publish engaging, on-brand content that highlights StoneFly's product offerings, thought leadership, and customer success stories.

  4. Monitor platform-specific metrics, user engagement, and industry trends; optimize posting schedules and content formats based on data-driven insights.

  5. Digital Campaign Development & Execution

  6. Plan, execute, and optimize paid digital campaigns (e.g., LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads) to generate quality leads and drive conversions.

  7. Collaborate with the product and sales teams to design campaigns that position StoneFly's solutions as top-of-mind for enterprise decision-makers.

  8. Employ A/B testing techniques to refine messaging, creative assets, and landing pages for maximum ROI.

  9. Content Creation & Management

  10. Write and manage content for various channels, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, eBooks, emails, and landing pages.

  11. Work closely with subject matter experts and design teams to create high-value materials that educate, inform, and persuade potential buyers.

  12. Ensure all content and collateral are consistent with StoneFly's brand voice, messaging, and visual identity.

  13. Lead Generation & Nurturing

  14. Develop and execute lead nurturing workflows, including email marketing sequences, to move prospects through the funnel.

  15. Collaborate with Sales and Business Development to ensure a seamless handoff of MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads) and to refine lead qualification criteria.

  16. Track and analyze lead quality, adjust campaigns accordingly, and regularly report on pipeline contribution.

  17. SEO & Website Optimization

  18. Oversee on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic search ranking and drive relevant traffic.

  19. Partner with web developers to optimize user experience (UX), ensuring all digital touchpoints are conversion-friendly and align with StoneFly's brand.

  20. Regularly update website content, landing pages, and blog posts to maintain SEO best practices and relevance.

  21. Analytics & Reporting

  22. Track, measure, and report on campaign performance (impressions, engagement, conversions, etc.), providing insights and recommendations to marketing leadership.

  23. Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.) to identify trends, measure success, and inform data-driven marketing decisions.

  24. Stay current on B2B digital marketing trends, adjusting strategies to stay ahead of the competition and emerging platform changes.

  25. Brand Advocacy & Thought Leadership

  26. Identify opportunities to position StoneFly as a thought leader in the data storage and cloud infrastructure space (e.g., webinars, virtual events, influencer partnerships).

  27. Engage with industry communities, forums, and professional groups to establish and grow StoneFly's presence and reputation.

  28. Collaborate with PR and product marketing teams on announcements, product launches, and other initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

1 Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in social media and digital marketing, preferably in a B2B technology environment.

2 Technical & Platform Expertise:

  • Proven track record of running successful LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and other paid campaigns.

  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).

  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) a plus.

3 Analytical & Strategic Thinking:

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, derive insights, and optimize campaigns accordingly.

  • Ability to set measurable goals, manage budgets, and demonstrate ROI.

4 Communication & Collaboration:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a broad audience.

  • Team player with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

5 Industry Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with enterprise storage, cloud solutions, or IT infrastructure is highly desirable.

  • Understanding of the B2B buyer journey, stakeholder roles, and the importance of targeted messaging for decision-makers.
