Job description

We are looking for a qualified Senior Merchandiser to organize development through to production according to the clients' quality standards.

Experience in Knit Garments is a MUST

An excellent merchandiser is organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. Advanced communication and computer skills are vital for the role.

Responsibilities

  • Keep track of all developments from fabric to finished garment
  • Responsible for ensuring the samples provided to buyers are 100% correct
  • Coordinate with all vendors to ensure delivery times and quality parameters have been followed
  • Coordinate with clients to fully understand all design details given
  • Responsible for coordinating with sampling to deliver samples according to the client's requirements
  • Source and arrange all necessary accessories
  • Conduct Pricing exercises to present to clients
  • Keep coordination with Production to make sure capacity is correctly booked.
  • Customer outreach for business development
  • Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
  • Maintain relationships with buyers for further business

Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
  • Flexible and problem-solving attitude
  • Willingness to learn and be innovative
  • Thorough in reading product requirements and determining what inputs are required
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in merchandising or production planning
