Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager Supply Chain, located on Karian Wala, Lahore-Sheikhupura Road, Lahore. The Assistant Manager Supply Chain will be responsible for overseeing demand planning, supply management, and inventory management. Daily tasks include procurement and maintaining efficient supply chain operations to ensure optimal inventory levels, cost efficiency, and availability of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement & Vendor Management

Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.

Coordinate purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and manage supplier performance.

Negotiate terms and maintain supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods.

  1. Inventory Management

Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.

Implement inventory control systems to optimize stock turnover and reduce carrying costs.

Conduct regular stock reconciliations and audits.

  1. Logistics & Distribution

Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with transporters, warehouses, and 3PL partners.

Track shipments and resolve any logistical issues or delays.

Ensure compliance with import/export regulations (if applicable).

  1. Demand Planning & Forecasting

Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to forecast demand accurately.

Analyze past trends and market data to predict future inventory needs.

Support in planning production and procurement schedules based on demand.

  1. Data Analysis & Reporting

Prepare regular reports on inventory status, order tracking, supplier performance, and logistics KPIs.

Use ERP or supply chain management software to maintain accurate records.

Identify areas for cost savings and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within the food industry is a plus

Proficiency in Demand Planning and Analytical Skills

Expertise in Supply Management and Inventory Management

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
