About the Role:

Saleem Memorial Hospital is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented
Assistant Manager Supply Chain
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the
procurement of surgical items
, ensuring the availability of high-quality supplies, timely vendor coordination, and compliance with hospital standards and procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement of surgical instruments, consumables, and related medical supplies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with surgical vendors and manufacturers.
  • Evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with user departments to ensure accurate specifications and timely deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with hospital policies and audit requirements.
  • Track vendor performance and maintain supplier evaluation records.
  • Support in budgeting, cost control, and market analysis for surgical items.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Supply Chain Management
    ,
    Business Administration
    , or a related field.
  • Minimum
    3–5 years of experience
    in hospital supply chain, preferably in
    surgical procurement
    .
  • Strong understanding of hospital procurement cycles and vendor management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in
    MS Office
    and
    ERP systems
    (experience with hospital ERP preferred).
