We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our team and work on cutting-edge e-commerce web applications. Our focus is on building scalable, high-performance online retail solutions using modern JavaScript technologies and industry best practices.

This is a full-time on-site position located in Peshawar. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining full-stack e-commerce applications with emphasis on code quality, performance optimization, and maintainable architecture. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver robust online shopping experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable e-commerce features using and React
  • Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using and Express
  • Build and optimize database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL and Sequelize ORM
  • Implement efficient data fetching and caching strategies with TanStack Query (React Query)
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving team coding standards
  • Debug and resolve technical issues across the full stack
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning
  • Optimize application performance and user experience
  • Should know the integrations of different apps with each other and product development flows

Must Have:

  • 3-5 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem
  • Hands-on experience with
    (App Router and/or Pages Router)
  • Solid React expertise
    including hooks, component patterns, and performance optimization
  • Backend development experience
    with and
  • Database proficiency
    with PostgreSQL and Sequelize ORM
  • Experience with TanStack Query
    (React Query) for state management and data synchronization
  • E-commerce domain knowledge
    including product catalogs, shopping carts, checkout flows, payment integration, and order management
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and functional programming paradigms
  • Experience with Git version control and collaborative workflows
  • Understanding of authentication/authorization patterns (JWT, OAuth, sessions)
  • Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques (code splitting, lazy loading, caching)
  • Experience with error handling, logging, and monitoring
  • Understanding of security best practices (SQL injection prevention, XSS, CSRF)
