At Tech Emulsion, we're building the company of the future, an AI-first software development company that helps global startups and enterprises launch scalable SaaS platforms, mobile apps, AI agents and AI-powered solutions.

We're 20+ people today, working with clients across the US, UK, Scandinavia, and Australia. Our portfolio includes AI SaaS, Agents, mobile app projects, and internal tools. Now we're scaling fast and we need strong Tech Leads to guide our engineering teams.

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to join our leadership team.

As a Tech Lead, you will:

• Own the 
  technical direction
   of a pod (project team of 6–8 engineers).
• Lead by example i.e. writing production-ready code while mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.
• Enforce 
  best practices
   in architecture, code reviews, and testing.
• Collaborate closely with the 
  Delivery Manager
   to ensure timelines and quality are met.
• Act as the 
  technical face of the project
   for both internal teams and clients (with CTO's support).

What You'll Do

• Guide engineers in 
  frontend )
   and 
  backend , Supabase/Postgres/Mongo)
   development.
• Review code and ensure 
  standards are followed
   (linting, testing, documentation).
• Design and validate 
  system architecture
   before development starts.
• Help break down features into deliverable user stories.
• Mentor developers, provide feedback, and 
  grow the craft
   in your specialty.
• Work with QA, designers, and AI/Cloud engineers to build 
  end-to-end features
  .
• Stay updated on 
  emerging technologies (AI/ML, automation, cloud)
   and bring innovative ideas into projects.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in 
  a company or SaaS environment.
• Strong fullstack skills with 
  JavaScript/TypeScript
  .
• Frontend: React, , TailwindCSS.
• Backend: , Express, Supabase/Postgres (or similar).
• Solid understanding of 
  software architecture, design patterns, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Previous experience leading teams, mentoring juniors, or acting as a 
  senior developer with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills: you can explain tech decisions to both devs and clients.
• Bonus: Experience with AI (LLMs, RAG, LangChain) or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Vercel).
