About Us

New Era Industries is a leading manufacturing company specializing in premium building materials. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an energetic and skilled Assistant Manager Supply Chain to join our Supply Chain department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage end-to-end supply chain operations (procurement, logistics, warehouse & inventory management).
  • Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, consumables, and packaging materials as per production schedules.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships; negotiate contracts for best pricing, lead times, and quality.
  • Monitor stock levels and implement efficient inventory control to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Coordinate closely with Production, Fabrication, and Sales teams to align supply with demand.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring smooth delivery to warehouses and customers.
  • Implement effective warehouse management practices to minimize wastage, pilferage, and damage.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.
  • Prepare periodic reports (inventory, vendor performance, material variance, and cost savings).
  • Contribute to ERP (Odoo) implementation and data accuracy for supply chain modules.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (minimum).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant supply chain experience (manufacturing sector preferred).
  • Age Range: 25 – 35 years.
  • Gender: Male.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office / ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
