Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience of 2-8 years in developing software tests for functional and regression testing, including automated and ad-hoc testing elements.
  • Practical knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Automation Life Cycle.
  • Must have strong grip on different automation frameworks.
  • Must have strong grip of BDD and Cucumber/gherkin.
  • Create automation test plans, maintain documentation, and perform testing on multiple devices, platforms, and browsers.
  • Provide input into improving the Automation test framework for the organization.
  • Good skills in writing SQL queries in SQL Server.
  • Engage with the development team to resolve identified defects.
  • Familiarity with a programming language preferably in Java, groovy.
  • Background working with Git, Bitbucket, SVN, Jenkins, or similar tools.

Responsibilities:

  • To work on BDD model.
  • Develop and review feature files in gherkin and automation them.
  • Develops automated test scripts for new features of n-1 sprint.
  • Develop automated scripts of all regression flows.
  • Maintain the whole automation script.
  • Report and update defects, verify defect fixes, using the JIRA defect tracking tool.
  • Must be able to work as manual tester in certain circumstances.
  • Execute automated flows on different server like local QA, UAT, PROD.
