About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled
Senior SQA Automation Engineer
with
7 years of experience
in designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate will ensure product quality through robust automation strategies, improve testing efficiency, and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Execute automated regression, functional, and performance tests.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Conduct root cause analysis of defects and ensure proper bug reporting.
  • Continuously optimize test scripts for reusability and efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA team members in automation best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and documentation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years
    of hands-on experience in
    Test Automation
    .
  • Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages:
    Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
    .
  • Experience with automation tools/frameworks:
    Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, Appium, RestAssured
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    API testing
    and tools like
    Postman, Swagger, SoapUI
    .
  • Experience with
    CI/CD pipelines
    and version control systems (
    Git, GitHub, Bitbucket
    ).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (
    JMeter, Locust, Gatling
    ) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
