Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior System Administrator, located in Islamabad. The Senior System Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day system administration tasks, including maintaining and upgrading servers, ensuring the smooth operation of Windows cluster systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical support to internal teams. The role will also include managing IT infrastructure and ensuring security compliance.
The responsibility to operate and maintain our HCS Cloud systems and infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation, optimization, and security of our Cloud-based and on-prem systems and plays an essential role in driving the strategic and operational success of our infrastructure, ensuring it meets current demands and is scalable for future growth.

Job Description:

  1. Lead the Operations support that includes the entire IT infrastructure housed within the Data Center in 24X7 environment.

  2. Responsible for Incident Management i.e. troubleshooting and leading critical issues on email, mobility, and driving them to resolution as per the SLAs.

  3. Manages support operations for on-premise and cloud systems.

  4. Administers essential IT systems and cloud service operations, including operating systems, applications, storage, and hardware.

5 Management, support, and troubleshooting of Hyper-V cluster

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL

  1. Good Knowledge of Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud) and their services.

  2. Experience managing Virtualization in both on-premises and cloud environments, including virtual machines and containers.

  3. Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving system hardware and OS issues.

  4. Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards in Cloud environment.

  5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  6. Hands-on cloud migration experience will be a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
