Job Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for making plans, procedures for maintaining and troubleshooting automated instrumentation in pharmaceutical machines & ancillaries.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing equipment failure data to identify patterns and trends.
  • Conducting root cause analysis to determine the underlying cause of problems.
  • Developing and implementing new maintenance procedures, and contributing in planning of OPEX budget.
  • Evaluate the operating demands of automation process control machines.
  • Perform the upkeep, installation, adjustment, and restoration of various apparatus, process control computers, and electronic instruments.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of innovative control strategies and guiding team in advanced technical and project management skills.
  • Having knowledge & ability to read and interpret system diagrams, schematics, code, and software to debug and optimize hardware systems.
  • Must be able to use a combination of technical knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills to develop solutions for complex systems.

Key Requirements:

The candidate must have/be:

  • a minimum qualification of B.E
  • around years of relevant work experience preferably (pharmaceutical, FMCG & processing industry), and machine installation and commissioning experience.
  • sound knowledge of Engineering Fundamentals and suggest modifications to enhance system performance.
  • Perform corrective, preventative maintenance & conditional based maintenance on existing machines.
  • Manage machines spare parts management.
  • Prepare written reports of activities such as installation, qualifications & root cause analysis.
  • Hands on experience of PLC, HMI & motion drives.
