Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, purchasing, and vendor relations. The role involves ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality procurement of goods and services for ongoing projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies in alignment with company objectives.

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.

Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and bid evaluations in compliance with procurement procedures.

Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and quality standards.

Coordinate with finance, operations, and project teams to forecast and manage procurement needs.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.

Conduct market research to identify cost optimization and sourcing opportunities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management.

Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

Excellent knowledge of procurement processes and documentation.

Proficiency in MS Office and procurement management systems.

Experience in international sourcing, particularly within building materials and school-related product categories, will be an added advantage.
