Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant with a focus on real estate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of real estate accounting principles and practices, along with proficiency in financial analysis and reporting. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to navigate complex financial transactions, and a commitment to ensuring accuracy and compliance in all aspects of real estate accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of real estate accounting, including property acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and tenant billing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for individual properties and consolidated portfolios.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of property performance, including revenue, expenses, occupancy rates, and market trends.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for real estate assets.
  • Coordinate with property managers, leasing agents, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
