POSITION SUMMARY:
The Outbound Sales Specialist are responsible for speaking with potential and current customers, scheduling the customer for a sales consultation with a licensed insurance agent, and answering basic policy related questions.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Focus efforts on maximizing lead conversion from initial contact to set appointment.
- Use learnings from a comprehensive training program to successfully set customer leads.
- Initiate outbound calls with a minimum of 350 calls per day
- Answer inbound calls in a prompt and professional fashion
- Serve as the initial point of contact for potential customers via phone, email, chat, and text message.
- Review information provided by the customer to confirm accuracy and determine availability for sales consultation.
- Document and update the customer interaction details within customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Create and validate prospect and customer data within CRM
- Process and deliver insurance paperwork to new and existing policyholders
- Promote teamwork through consistency, reliability and group cohesiveness.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Intellectually curious with an interest in learning sales systems and processes inside a sales center
- Ability to juggle various work activities
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented
- Good listening skills with ability to comprehend information presented and respond

- Detail-oriented with ability to focus on the task at hand
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for communicating with internal and external parties
- Strong working knowledge of computers and office productivity applications with an aptitude to learn new software and systems
