E-Lite is urgently looking for Assistant Manager (Import)

Location: Karachi DHA Phase-6 Rahat Commercial.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager (Import) to join our team at E-Lite. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating import operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Clearing and Forwarding: Coordinate with clearing agents and forwarders to ensure smooth customs clearance and cargo handling.

  2. Documentation: Manage and process import documents, including Air Way Bills, Bills of Lading, and other relevant paperwork.

  3. Supplier Relations: Negotiate and maintain Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with suppliers to optimize import costs.

  4. Customs Compliance: Ensure compliance with customs regulations, calculate and verify customs duty, and resolve any issues.

  5. Financial Coordination: Coordinate with banks for Electronic Financial Instruments (EIF) approvals and facilitate payments.

  6. Logistics Optimization: Continuously review and improve import processes to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in import operations, preferably in a similar role.

  2. Knowledge: Strong understanding of import regulations, customs procedures, and logistics management.

  3. Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  4. Salary Package: Competitive, based on experience
