We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead the human resources function in our software company. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding to employee engagement, performance management, and compliance. This role requires someone with strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to align HR strategies with business goals in a fast-paced technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and execute effective hiring strategies for technical and non-technical roles.
  • Partner with department heads to understand workforce needs.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment: job postings, screening, interviews, and selection.

2. Employee Onboarding & Engagement

  • Design smooth onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Foster a positive company culture aligned with organizational values.
  • Plan employee engagement activities, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives.

3. Performance Management & Development

  • Implement performance appraisal systems and feedback mechanisms.
  • Support managers in setting KPIs and goals for employees.
  • Identify training and development needs; coordinate learning programs.

4. HR Policies & Compliance

  • Maintain up-to-date HR policies in line with labor laws and IT industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment law, and regulations.
  • Handle employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions fairly.

5. Compensation & Benefits

  • Manage payroll coordination with finance.
  • Review and design competitive compensation and benefits packages.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking for software/IT industry roles.

6. Strategic HR & Leadership

  • Contribute to business strategy with workforce planning and HR insights.
  • Support leadership in building a strong employer brand.
  • Lead HR digitalization efforts (HRIS, ATS, performance tools).

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of HR experience (at least 2 years in managerial capacity, preferably in the software/IT industry).
  • Strong knowledge of Pakistan labor laws (or relevant regional laws).
  • Experience in technical recruitment and HR tools (ATS, HRIS, payroll systems).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environment.
