We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
Accountant
with strong expertise in
audit support, FBR tax handling, balance sheet preparation, and Excel proficiency
. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with local tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, maintain, and review
    financial statements
    including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements.
  • Ensure
    compliance with FBR regulations
    including Sales Tax, Income Tax, and Withholding Tax returns.
  • Handle
    monthly and annual tax filings
    , reconciliations, and documentation for tax audits.
  • Support and coordinate
    internal and external audits
    , ensuring accuracy and timely submission of required records.
  • Perform
    account reconciliations
    (bank, vendor, receivables, payables) and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain proper accounting records in compliance with
    IFRS and local standards
    .
  • Manage
    budgeting and forecasting
    processes, providing variance analysis.
  • Utilize
    advanced Excel skills
    (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, conditional formatting, reporting dashboards) to prepare management reports.
  • Assist in improving
    internal controls
    and ensuring financial accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in
    Accounting, Finance, or related field
    .
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience
    in accounting, audit, and tax handling.
  • Strong knowledge of
    FBR tax compliance
    (Sales Tax, Income Tax, WHT).
  • Hands-on experience in
    audit preparation and support
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Microsoft Excel
    (advanced level) and familiarity with
    ERP/accounting software
    (QuickBooks, SAP, or Zoho preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
