Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee the daily operations of our accounting department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for general ledger management, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with local tax regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is analytical, organized, and eager to contribute to a growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Handle accounts payable and receivable

Prepare bank reconciliations and manage cash flow

Assist with budgeting and forecasting

Monitor and manage tax filings, including GST/Sales Tax, Income Tax, etc.

Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits

Ensure compliance with local financial laws and regulations

Support in financial planning and analysis as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Proven work experience as an Accountant (minimum 2-3 years preferred)

Background experience in any IT company

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, ERP) and MS Excel

Excellent analytical and numerical skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
