T24 Senior Technical Analyst

The Associate Director – Core Banking (T24) will be overseeing the design, development, and delivery of Temenos T24 solutions. This role will be accountable for providing deep domain and technical leadership in T24 platform development, integration, and optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in T24 AA modules (Lending, Deposits, Accounts) and hands-on experience in managing complex banking transformation initiatives. Developing technical design specifications and translating technical design into process/program specifications.

Responsible for the development & enhancement of existing software applications, including developing, modifying, and maintaining applications with a high level of accuracy and focus on customer satisfaction.

• Drive end-to-end project execution, from requirements gathering to deployment and support, ensuring agile best practices.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders (Product, Operations, Compliance, Risk) to ensure platform scalability and regulatory compliance.

• Act as a thought leader for the T24 platform, guiding architecture decisions and technology roadmaps aligned with business goals.

• Review business requirements and translate them into scalable technical design documents and specifications.

• Design, develop, and customize T24 modules and components (AA Lending, Deposits, Accounts, Customer, Teller, Payments, Treasury, Funds Transfer, Cheque Management).

• Write and optimize T24 routines, versions, enquiries, reports, and browser-based screens using TAFJ, jBASE, or INFOBASIC.

• Lead and support system integrations with internal and external platforms via T24 APIs, OFS, Web Services, TIF, and MQ messaging.

• Ensure smooth data migration, load/stress testing, and data consistency across systems.

• Own and manage change management and release processes for core banking solutions.

• Establish and enforce standards for documentation, coding, testing, deployment, and best development practices.

• Mentor and coach junior developers and business analysts, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.

• Work closely with branch and branchless banking teams to support multiple initiatives.

• Assist in defining reporting requirements and scoping for development of new or enhanced reports.

• Evaluate architecture and component-level design trade-offs with a focus on performance and scalability.

• Exhibit ethical development practices and ensure alignment with organizational behaviors (Be Respectful, Keep Promises, Always Explore, Create Together).

• Manage compliance risk inherent in day-to-day technical activities and contribute to the ongoing refinement of policies, processes, and systems.

Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor's in Software Engineering

5 to 10 years in the Banking sector or T24 Dev Team

· Highly self-motivated and directed

· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure

· Analytical skills- An outstanding analytical skill will separate a good business analyst. A good part of the BA role includes the basics of business analysis, analyzing data, workflow, user or stakeholders' inputs, documents, etc.

· Leadership skills- One of the Business Analyst's responsibilities is directing team members, forecasting budgets, helping team members with problems, etc.

· Business process and planning- Planning the project scope, understanding, and implementing requirements of the project, identifying resources required for the project, and so on

· Technical skill- If a business analyst few technical aspects are expected to know like operating systems, hardware capabilities, database concepts, networking, SDLC methodology, etc.

· Technically creative and open-minded

· Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail

· Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development

· Knowledge of software development process and technical skills: Business Analyst must know the technical aspects of projects to identify risks, propose immediate solutions, and provide guidance for the computer system solutions.

· Communication skills: To communicate with all stakeholders, such as software engineers, management, clients, and vendors, they must convey technical language to other stakeholders, often in non-technical terms.
