Job Title: DevOps Engineer (1–3 Years Experience)

Location : Bahria Town, Phase 4, Rawalpindi

MWAN MOBILE currently has an exciting opportunity for a
DevOps Engineer
who has hands-on experience in automation, deployment, and infrastructure management across on-premises and cloud environments.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • At least
    1–3 years of experience
    as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Must possess practical experience in
    system automation, deployment, and infrastructure implementation
    .
  • Knowledge of
    automated development practices
    to ensure architecture standardization and faster delivery.
  • Advanced expertise in
    Linux systems
    , including
    Ubuntu
    ,
    Debian
    , and
    Amazon Linux
    .
  • In-depth understanding of the
    DevOps process
    and CI/CD practices.
  • Hands-on expertise with
    Ansible
    and
    Bash scripting
    .
  • Strong experience with
    Docker
    and container-based environments.
  • Experience with
    Docker Swarm
    or similar orchestration tools.
  • Experience managing
    Nginx (reverse proxy, load balancing, SSL)
    and
    Traefik
    for container routing.
  • Knowledge of
    database clusters
    , preferably
    MongoDB
    and
    MySQL Cluster
    (replication, backups, HA).
  • Familiarity with
    Jenkins
    for CI/CD pipelines and image deployment automation.
  • Understanding of
    Proxmox VE
    ,
    VMware
    , or
    AWS EC2
    for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Knowledge of
    AWS services
    such as
    EC2, RDS, S3, ECR
    , and
    EKS
    .
  • Experience configuring
    VPNs (WireGuard/OpenVPN)
    and managing
    firewall rules (iptables/pfSense)
    .
  • Basic understanding of
    ZFS/NFS
    storage systems for persistent data handling.
  • Familiarity with
    Cloudflare
    for DNS, CDN, and SSL management.
  • Ability to
    analyze logs
    , monitor performance, and troubleshoot deployment or runtime issues.
  • Strong
    communication, troubleshooting, and analytical
    skills.
  • Ability to
    prioritize tasks
    , manage workflows, and maintain proper documentation.
  • Keen to
    learn and adapt to new technologies
    quickly.
