Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Tax Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing tax returns, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and tax-related documentation
  • Support during tax audits and respond to queries from tax authorities
  • Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal tax regulations
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and reporting accuracy
  • Assist in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and data entry as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience in tax or accounting will be an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
