Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA) based in Hyderabad. The role involves managing PostgreSQL database systems, performing database tuning and optimization, designing and maintaining database architecture, and ensuring data integrity and security. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting database-related issues, setting up replication mechanisms, and driving efficient database processes to support business needs. Attention to detail and swift problem-solving are critical aspects of the role.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Database Administration and expertise in managing PostgreSQL Mongo databases
  • Proficiency in Database Design and developing efficient database systems
  • Skills in troubleshooting and resolving database performance and operational issues
  • Understanding of replication techniques and maintaining data consistency across databases
  • Familiarity with security, backup, and recovery practices to ensure data reliability
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Certification in PostgreSQL or relevant database technologies is a plus
  • Experience in cloud database solutions or similar industries is beneficial
