We're seeking a Solution Architect who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical design — someone who can craft smart solutions, build accurate pricing models, and help win complex customer projects.

About the Role

As a Solution Architect, you'll be responsible for designing service and technical solutions tailored to customer requirements. You'll work closely with the CEO, sales, and service delivery teams to understand client pain points, define scope, draft proposals, and prepare cost/pricing models.

Your role is both technical and commercial — you'll combine solution design with business thinking to ensure every proposal is deliverable, scalable, and profitable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand requirements, challenges, and expectations.
  • Design end-to-end IT and field service solutions, including architecture, workflows, SLAs, and delivery models.
  • Prepare proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and commercial pricing models.
  • Collaborate with technical and finance teams to validate feasibility, resource costs, and margins.
  • Support sales and pre-sales by preparing RFP/RFI responses and client-facing documentation.
  • Present technical solutions in customer meetings or remote sessions.
  • Create solution diagrams, cost breakdowns, and supporting technical material.
  • Coordinate with vendors or regional partners to gather component pricing.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends (cloud, networking, automation, and cybersecurity).
  • Ensure seamless handover of approved solutions to project delivery teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, managed services, or solution design.
  • Strong understanding of networks, servers, endpoint support, and IT field operations.
  • Experience in solution costing, bid preparation, or pre-sales.
  • Advanced Excel skills for pricing and cost modelling.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to both detail and business impact.
  • Experience with ITIL frameworks or service management models is a plus.
