Role Overview

We are looking for a Techno-Functional Microsoft Dynamics 365 Consultant who excels in both technical development and functional consulting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, customizing, and integrating Dynamics 365 (CRM/ERP) solutions, while also engaging with clients to translate business requirements into scalable, automated digital workflows.

This role involves hands-on technical development (C#, JavaScript, Power Platform, Integrations) along with functional responsibilities such as requirement gathering, business process mapping, solution presentation, testing, and post-deployment support.

Key Responsibilities

Consulting & Client Engagement

  • Participate in requirement gathering, business analysis, and process documentation
  • Translate client business needs into technical and functional solution designs
  • Conduct solution demos, technical walkthroughs, and user training sessions
  • Act as the bridge between functional teams, developers, and business stakeholders

Technical Design & Development

  • Customize Dynamics 365 CRM/ERP modules (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Finance & Operations preferred)
  • Develop custom plugins, workflows, business process flows using C#/.NET and Power Platform
  • Implement integrations using REST APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and third-party connectors
  • Configure PowerApps, Power Automate, and embed Power BI dashboards into Dynamics

Implementation & Delivery

  • Lead implementation, deployment, and testing of Dynamics 365 solutions
  • Perform system integration, data migration, and performance optimization
  • Prepare technical documentation, solution architecture diagrams, and deployment guides
  • Provide post-deployment support, enhancements, and change requests

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CRM and/or ERP
  • Strong foundation in configuration, customization, and solution delivery

Proficient in:

  • C#, .NET, JavaScript, REST APIs
  • Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Custom Plugins, PCF Controls, Business Rules

Azure Logic Apps / Azure Functions for integrations

  • Functional understanding of processes related to Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain, Workflows, and Business Rules
  • Experience in data migration (Excel import, KingswaySoft, Azure Data Factory, SSIS)
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Security Models, Role-Based Access & System Administration
  • Ability to create Functional Specs (FRD), Technical Specs (TSD), and System Architecture Documents

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

  • Microsoft Certifications (PL-200, MB-210, MB-310, MB-500, AZ-204)
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Business Central
  • Experience with DevOps (Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Strong understanding of solution architecture design

Role Expectations

  • Able to attend 2–3 client/project meetings daily (US time zone)
  • Must be confident in client-facing presentations and solution walkthroughs
  • Camera/mic-ready setup, stable internet, and backup power required
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing project requirements & timelines
  • Available for PST/EST overlap
