JOB Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Consultant- Dynamics 365 F&O to Lead and execute end-to-end implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing functional solutions, configuring financial modules, and supporting the complete implementation lifecycle for enterprise clients. This role strong financial domain knowledge, hands-on configuration skills, and excellent communication abilities to engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

business Analysis & Process Mapping

  • Conduct discovery sessions with clients to gather and document finance-related business requirements.
  • Perform Fit-Gap analysis to identify solution design versus standard D365 F&O capabilities.
  • Translate business processes into system requirements and functional specifications.

Solution Design & Configuration

  • Design and configure D365 Finance modules including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Fixed Assets
  • Cash & Bank Management
  • Budgeting, Project Accounting, Taxation & Cost Accounting
  • Financial Dimensions & Posting Profiles
  • Configure workflows, chart of accounts, and fiscal setups.

Implementation & Deployment

  • Support project lifecycle from design to deployment including data migration, cutover, and go-live activities.
  • Validate integrations with external systems (e.g., payroll, HIS, banking).
  • Collaborate with technical consultants and developers for customizations.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Develop and execute test scripts for unit, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure accuracy in financial postings and compliance with audit controls.

Training & user Adoption

  • Create user manuals, training guides, and SOPs.
  • Conduct workshops and user training sessions for finance teams and system users.

Support & Optimization

  • Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution.
  • Recommend process improvements and system optimizations aligned with business needs.
  • Stay updated with the latest D365 F&O features and finance best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or IT.
  • 4–8 years of experience in implementing Dynamics AX / D365 Finance & Operations.
  • Proven experience in at least 
    3 end-to-end implementations
  • Solid understanding of finance principles, accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
  • Experience with 
    Azure DevOps
    , 
    Lifecycle Services (LCS)
    , and 
    Power BI
     is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of X++, Power Platform, and Azure DevOps.
  • Data Management Framework (DMF).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in localization (e.g., KSA VAT, ZATCA, Pakistan FBR) is a strong advantage.
