As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Manager in our Finance Department.

THE ROLE

The Assistant Manager - Finance will be responsible for bookkeeping on accounting software (Odoo), maintaining proper documentation and filing of record, assisting in audit and coordinating stakeholders to ensure proper financial record, budgeting, implementing and maintaining the financial and bookkeeping system required to ensure the integrity and effective performance of our financial operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Bookkeeping of daily financial transactions on accounting software

· Ensure that the company's financial record is up to date on the accounting software, and is recorded according to applicable financial principles

· Aiding in the company's annual audit

· Carry out the bank reconciliation process on a regular basis to ensure the bank balance matches with the company's financial record

· Record POS transactions including POS charges daily and preparing the relevant POS report

· Daily cash count, ensuring that cash in hand matches with the financial record

· Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records

· Resonsible for payables and receivables

· Prepare cheques

· Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient financial transactions

· Ensure strong internal controls and implementation of policies and procedures

· Prevent over-expenditure and ensure cost effectiveness

· Analyze the financial record and suggest revenue increment measures

· Assist the Manager-Finance with any other tasks as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· University degree in Business Accounting and Auditing or similar field of study

· Must have a sound understanding / experience of taxation

·     Proficiency in software applications, databases, spreadsheets including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Payroll

· Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines

· Ability to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations

· Demonstrated ability to exercise confidentiality and professionalism
