Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager Finance located in the Karachi Division. The Assistant Manager Finance will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also involves coordinating with different departments to ensure financial efficiency and accuracy, and supporting senior management in strategic financial planning and decision-making.

  • Financial management and financial reporting skills
  • Budget management and financial analysis skills
  • Experience in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Strong Excel and accounting software skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is a plus

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Management: Prepare and validate monthly payroll workings and develop a disbursement plan in coordination with HR and Finance.

  2. International Purchases & Landing Costs: Manage international procurement data, including calculating accurate landing costs for imported products.

  3. Partner Profit Allocation: Prepare and execute profit-sharing calculations for business partners and ensure timely disbursement as per agreements.

  4. Staff Penalties & Perks Management: Maintain and process records for branch staff bonuses, medical claims, penalties, deductions, commissions, and rewards, ensuring transparency and timely application.

  5. Price List Management: Maintain multiple types of price lists in the system, ensure their accuracy, periodic updates, and alignment with procurement and sales strategies. 6. Financial Planning – Targets & Limits: Define and update sales targets and expense limits for each branch, ensuring effective budgeting and performance monitoring.

Summary: The AM Finance – P6 plays a strategic role in financial operations, combining data accuracy, financial planning, and timely disbursements to support the company's overall performance and compliance.
