Position Title: Assistant Manager – Finance (Taxation)

Location: Head Office, Plot# No. 55-A, Sindh Muslim Cooperative Housing Society (SMCHS), Karachi, Pakistan

Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Taxation to handle corporate and project-based taxation for Dany Tameerat's operations. The ideal candidate will ensure full tax compliance, manage filings, liaise with FBR, and support strategic financial decisions through accurate reporting.Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file monthly/annual Income, Sales, and Withholding Tax returns.
  • Manage FBR, SRB matters, audits, and correspondence.
  • Reconcile tax ledgers and ensure proper documentation.
  • Support budgeting, cash-flow forecasts, and vendor payment tax deductions.
  • Coordinate with legal advisors and external auditors.
  • Maintain compliance with IFRS and local tax regulations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • 100% timely filing of all tax returns.
  • Zero FBR penalties or notices.
  • Reconciliation accuracy ≥ 99%.
  • Internal reports delivered before the 2nd of each month.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA/CA (Part-Qualified).
  • 3–5 years' experience in corporate taxation (real-estate or construction preferred).
  • Proficiency in ERP/QuickBooks & Excel.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs120, Rs140,000.00 per month
