Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team, specializing in social media content, branding, and UI/UX support. This role requires a strong visual design sense, proficiency in industry-standard tools, and the ability to deliver high-quality assets across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be passionate about design, quick to iterate, and capable of maintaining brand consistency while producing engaging visuals for diverse marketing needs.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Design (60%)

  • Design engaging static posts, carousels, stories, reel covers, thumbnails, and ads.
  • Collaborate with marketing to write or iterate captions and prepare files for scheduling.
  • Create graphical motion assets (GIFs, Lottie animations, reel text animations) and perform basic video trims.

Branding and Visual Identity (30%)

  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines including color palettes, typography, grids, iconography, and patterns.
  • Develop campaign kits, pitch decks, one-pagers, banners, and event collateral.
  • Produce custom illustration/icon sets and perform basic photo retouching.

UI/UX Design Support (10%)

  • Build simple wireframes, components, and marketing pages using Figma.
  • Slice/export assets, prepare developer handoff notes, and maintain the design library.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or digital media environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing social media content, brand assets, and UI/UX support work.
  • Proficiency in design tools including Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Google Slides.
  • Solid understanding of visual design principles: typography, layout, color theory, and hierarchy.
  • Familiarity with branding systems and asset kits (logos, lockups, brand books).
  • Basic UI/UX literacy (user flows, wireframes, components, auto-layout).
  • Excellent time management and ability to iterate quickly from brief to delivery.

Tools

Figma, Adobe suite ( Illustrator/Photoshop & After Effects e.t.c), Google slides, Blender.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong grasp of visual design principles including typography, layout, color theory, and hierarchy.
  • Experience designing for fintech, e-commerce, or fast-paced digital environments.
  • Familiarity with motion design tools like Lottie or advanced After Effects workflows.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for smoother collaboration with developers.
