Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Assistant Manager – Medical Billing
to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in U.S. medical billing processes and will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality results to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the medical billing team.
- Monitor claims submission, payment posting, AR follow-up, and denial management.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and client-specific policies.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare and share performance reports with management.
- Coordinate with clients for escalations and resolve complex billing issues.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or related field.
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in U.S. medical billing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Strong understanding of RCM processes (Charge Entry, Payment Posting, AR, Denials).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in medical billing software and MS Office tools.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
