Key Accountabilities:

  • Investment Analyst will be primarily responsible for fundamental research in order to assist fund managers in investment decision making.
  • Fundamental research on companies listed on Pakistan Stock exchange and prepare investment recommendations on the basis of detailed financial models/spreadsheets.
  • Prepare, update and maintain financial models of companies under coverage and update head of investment regarding impact of any change in the outlook.
  • Keep update on the latest economic issues on daily basis and its implications on the capital markets; assist the head of investment in making strategic decision across different asset classes.
  • Supervise and train the junior Investment Analyst team.
  • Arrange and attend corporate meetings/analyst briefings on investee of investee companies.
  • Coordination with sell side research houses with regards to latest updates on respective sectors/companies.
  • Preparation of JLIC morning meeting reports, FMR, Funds' performance and all other research products.
  • Facilitate Head of research in achieving their departmental goals.
  • Shariah screening/approvals from SA/Dividend purification etc.
  • Managing research database on key input data for respective sectors.

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

  • MBA/BBA/ACCA/MS&BS in Finance or Economics (CFA Level II Pass)
  • Relevant 2-3 years experience in similar role
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent Communication & Writing Skills.
