We are seeking a talented
Python/Django Engineer
to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performing web applications. You will play a key role in building efficient backend systems, integrating APIs, and ensuring seamless interaction between server-side logic and front-end components. This role is ideal for someone passionate about clean code, performance optimization, and delivering reliable digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Backend Development & Architecture

Design, build, and maintain web applications using Python and Django frameworks.

Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend and third-party systems.

Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.

2. Database Design & Management

Design and manage relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) ensuring data integrity and efficiency.

Write optimized queries and implement effective data models.

Manage database migrations and performance tuning.

3. System Optimization & Quality Assurance

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.

Implement best practices in testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.

Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.

5. Research & Innovation

Stay updated on the latest Python frameworks, libraries, and backend technologies.

Explore opportunities to incorporate automation, AI integration, and cloud-based solutions.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience

Proven experience as a Python/Django Developer (3+ years).

Strong proficiency in Python, Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), and ORM concepts.

Experience with database systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (Git).

Understanding of front-end integration using JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) is a plus.

Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

Capable of managing multiple projects and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Knowledge of asynchronous programming (Celery, Channels).

Experience with caching and message queue systems (Redis, RabbitMQ).

Understanding of security best practices in web development.
