About the job

This is a full-time remote role for Upwork Bidding Specialist. The executive will be responsible for identifying and generating leads on Upwork, conducting market research, and developing strategies to engage potential clients. Daily tasks include maintaining excellent customer service, communicating effectively with clients, analyzing and optimizing business development processes, and meeting lead generation targets.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage and optimize the Upwork Agency account.
  • Identify and evaluate relevant job postings on Upwork daily
  • Craft personalized, high-converting proposals that speak to client needs
  • Track and manage bidding activity and performance metrics
  • Follow up with leads and maintain timely communication with prospects
  • Manage and optimize the Upwork Agency account.
  • Identify and pursue relevant opportunities to secure projects
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Develop strategies to increase visibility and win rate on Upwork.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience with bidding and winning projects on Upwork
  • Excellent written English and persuasive communication skills
  • Ability to understand client pain points and position solutions clearly
  • Organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
  • Familiarity with Upwork algorithms and best practices is a plus
  • Minimum 1 year of proven experience in Upwork bidding and client acquisition
  • Deep understanding of Upwork policies, categories, client engagement cycles, and sales funnels.
  • Prior experience managing an Agency Account is a must.
