Position Overview:

The UX Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital transformation journey at Zones. This position focuses on designing elegant, intuitive, and user-centric experiences for data-intensive applications, ecommerce platforms, and double-sided marketplaces. As part of the Zones Digital team, the UX Designer/Architect will collaborate with business leaders, industry partners, and customers to transform innovative ideas into impactful solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in design, creativity, and agile principles, combined with excellent problem-solving and communication skills to deliver seamless, engaging digital experiences.

What you'll do as the UX Architect:

Employees employed in the role of UX Designer/Architect shall be required to apply their independent mind and demonstrate intellectual abilities in their decision-making.

• Create and own the information architecture for Zones client facing self support application as well as the tool that powers Zones' employee successes.
• Complete hands-on information architecture work, such as site maps, digital ecosystem mapping, user flows, wireframing, and prototyping.
• Facilitate client workshops and drive clients to thoughtful, considered decisions.
• Research and understand the target audiences' needs, tasks, and goals and create relevant artifacts, such as personas, journey maps.
• Conduct user research, such as remote usability testing, card sorting, surveys, heuristics evaluations, interviews, and contextual inquiries.
• Convey the expected experience through supporting documentation, such as user stories, requirements, or functional annotations.
• Occasionally, you will participate in sales activities by quickly understanding a potential client's needs and outlining a vision appropriate for the budget, ask, and core user needs. 
• Create efficient and reusable UI design system.
• Identifying and resolve performance and scalability issues

What you will bring to the team:

• 5+ years of progressive product design and engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a UX designer for enterprise software.
• 5+ years of experience in software development building e-commerce software.
• Proficiency with prototyping tools such as Axure, Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma 
• Experience with research and usability testing tools such as , , Pendo, etc

Your Education

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, and or relevant experience.
