Project Manager For SEO Department

We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee our growing SEO team. The ideal candidate is not required to be a technical SEO expert but must have strong project management, organization, and people management skills. You will ensure smooth workflow, timely delivery of projects, and full transparency across the team.

You will work closely with our Technical SEO Lead (who owns strategy and quality) to make sure all client projects are executed on time and meet expected standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, assign, and track daily/weekly tasks for SEO team members (writers, off-site SEOs, technical SEOs, designer).
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and team productivity to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Act as the main point of accountability for deadlines, workload management, and reporting to agency leadership.
  • Maintain and update project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, ClickUp, Jira).
  • Generate weekly reports on task progress, deadlines, and KPIs (e.g., number of articles, links, audits completed).
  • Identify workload gaps (e.g., underutilized team members) and redistribute tasks when needed.
  • Coordinate with the Technical SEO Lead to clarify scope, strategy, or task requirements.
  • Flag risks, delays, or bottlenecks early and propose solutions.
  • Facilitate communication between team members, technical lead, and company leadership.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year experience in project management, delivery coordination, or operations, preferably in a digital agency.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Trello, Jira, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and proactive approach.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50, Rs70,000.00 per month
