A global company with headquarters in Texas, USA and offices in Pakistan, and the Philippines. yieldWerx enables semiconductor companies, Offshore Assembly & Test (OSATS) as well as Independent Device Manufacturers (IDM)'s the ability to analyze test data across the complete value chain (Design, Manufacturing, Assembly Test and end application usage. We work with the world's largest Semiconductor Foundries (TSMC, SMIC, Global Foundries etc.) as well as Independent Device Manufacturers such as Intel, Microsoft, Monolithic Power Systems to name just a few.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Design, write, and execute
    manual test cases
    based on specifications.
  • Perform
    functional, UI, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
    .
  • Log, track, and verify
    defects and issues
    using tools like
    JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
    .
  • Collaborate with developers to
    reproduce and troubleshoot issues
    .
  • Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing.
  • Provide
    clear and concise documentation
    for test plans, test cases, and test results.
  • Participate in
    daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and QA reviews
    .
  • Continuously learn and improve QA practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    computer science, Software Engineering
    , or related field.
  • Basic understanding of
    Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    and
    Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
    .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with
    QA tools
    like JIRA, TestRail, Excel/Google Sheets, etc.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Internship or 0–2 year of experience in a QA role.

Preferred (but not mandatory):

  • Exposure to
    Agile/Scrum
    methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of
    SQL
    or test automation tools is a plus.
