As a Flight Operations Officer This critical role ensures safe, punctual, and cost-efficient flight operations while adhering to global aviation standards (CAA, ICAO, IATA). Key Responsibilities

Pre-Flight

· Collaborate with the Pilot-in-Command to prepare and validate Operational Flight Plans (OFPs), ensuring fuel, routes, alternates, NOTAMs, weather, and permits are optimized.

· Generate or verify payload & balance data and load sheets.

· Secure airport slots, PBN/RNP approvals, over-flight permits, and coordinate ground handling, de-icing, catering, and special cargo (e.g., dangerous goods, AOG).

In-Flight

· Monitor aircraft in real-time using ADS-B/ACARS/CPDLC for position, fuel burn, and weather updates.

· Make critical decisions on diversions, re-routing, or fuel adjustments; communicate with PIC, ATC, and station teams.

· Maintain detailed watch logs for all operational decisions.

Post-Flight

· Archive flight documentation (OFP, load sheet, fuel tickets, tech logs).

· Conduct fuel efficiency analysis and debrief for safety and performance improvements.

· Report and investigate delays, ASAP events, or irregular operations (IROPS) via the company SMS.

Propose fuel-saving initiatives (e.g., CI optimization, APU policies).

Evaluate third-party vendors for cost-efficiency (fuel, handling, ATC charges).

Compliance & Safety

· Ensure compliance with ICAO Annexes, CAA, IOSA, and company standards.

· Act as Operations Duty Officer during emergencies, providing critical data to the Emergency Response Center (ERC).

· Support audits and maintain Operations Manual, MEL, CDL, and route library.

Qualifications & Experience

· High school diploma required; Bachelor's in Aviation, Engineering, or Meteorology preferred.

· 3-5 years in airline OCC; turbojet/international ops preferred.

· Expert in ICAO Annexes 2, 6, 11; Doc 4444; EU-OPS/CASA/14 CFR Part 121.

· Proficient in flight planning systems (Lido, Jeppesen, Sabre, SITA) and MS Office.
