Senior Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical & Measurement Tasks
- Create accurate cross sections and profiles of roads using Civil 3D.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and verify site measurements as per approved drawings.
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and rate analysis for ongoing and upcoming works.
- Develop comparison reports to support procurement and cost analysis decisions.
2. Commercial & Cost Control
- Prepare Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs) accurately based on verified work progress and submit to the client for approval.
- Check and certify subcontractor bills, ensuring compliance with contract terms and actual site progress.
- Estimate and forecast costs for upcoming or additional work items.
- Assist in preparation of variations, claims, and final accounts as required.
3. Coordination & Communication
- Maintain regular coordination with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for smooth flow of technical and commercial information.
- Support the project management team in ensuring timely approvals and financial progress.
4. Tools & Documentation
- Utilize Civil 3D, MS Excel, and other relevant software for accurate data management and reporting.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, quantities, and commercial correspondence.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficient in Civil 3D and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in quantity measurement.
- Understanding of construction contracts and payment procedures.
